Laws that apply

We serve clients in the United Kingdom, the United States, and elsewhere. How we handle personal data is governed by the laws of both countries, including:

• United Kingdom — UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• United States — applicable federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state laws such as those in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others as they apply to you.

Where more than one law could apply, we follow the stricter of the two on that point. Nothing in this policy limits a right you already have under UK or US law.

What we collect

Orders: name, email, delivery address, pieces, sizes, PayPal invoice number, amount. Contact: name, email, message. The bag, language, currency, and cookie choice sit in your browser until you clear them. We do not store card numbers. PayPal collects payment on its pages.

We may also receive a country or region from your connection so that prices can be shown in a local currency. That lookup is not used to advertise to you.

Why we use it

To take and send orders, reply to you, keep accounts, and show you the site in a language and currency that fit. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Under UK GDPR the lawful bases are: contract (to complete an order), legitimate interests (to run the house and answer enquiries), and consent where you have asked us to write. Under US law these are our business purposes: fulfilling orders, providing customer service, security, and legal compliance.

Sharing

We share what is needed with PayPal to take payment, and with a carrier to deliver a piece. We may share data if the law requires it, or to protect the house and our clients. Service providers who help us host the site see only what they need to do that work.

Your rights

United Kingdom. You may ask for a copy of your data, a correction, an erasure, a restriction, or a transfer, and you may object to certain uses. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

United States. Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to know what we collect, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share as those words are used in the CCPA), and not to be discriminated against for exercising a right. California residents may also limit the use of sensitive personal information; we do not use it for extra purposes. You may use an authorised agent where your state allows it.

To use any of these rights, write to hello@bondluxurygroup.com from the address we hold for you. We will confirm who you are before we act. We aim to reply within one month (UK) or 45 days (US), and may take longer where the law allows.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as tax and consumer law in the UK and the US ask us to. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you. Browser storage you can clear yourself at any time.

Children

The site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 (UK) or under 13, or under 16 in California where that higher age applies.
